Waterborne freight carriage by floating craft of the P.U.M. Żegluga Gdańska Ltd.
We own self-propelled barges that can operate in sheltered sea waters and inland waterways.
In addition, we can serve on cargo traffic in the ports of
Gdynia,
Gdańsk,
Gdańsk North Port area,
Elbl±g,
Malbork,
Tolkmicko,
Kaliningrad
and passages between and among those ports.
Our floating stock are Polish-built type BM 500 barges, of main dimensions:
length overall 56.61m; breadth moulded 7.58m; draught 1.70m.
Barges are classed with the Polish Register of
Shipping: PRS class and hold a safety certificate of the Gdańsk Maritime Office and certificate of seaworthiness, each.
Our ships and barges are insured with the WARTA Insurance and Reinsurance Company.
The barge holds are provided with hatch covers and have metal bottoms inside holds.
Voyage duration from Elbląg to Gdańsk - 12 hours
Voyage duration from Elbląg to Gdynia - 24 hours (two days of 24 hours in daytime cruises)
Voyage duration from Malbork to Gdańsk, Gdynia - 24 hours (two days of 24 hours in daytime cruises)
Voyage duration from Kaliningrad to Elbląg - 16 hours
Voyage duration from Kaliningrad to Gdańsk - 36 hours (three days of 24 hours in daytime cruises).
Time free, for loading - 12 hours
Time free, for discharging - 12 hours
Each next day in loading/discharging is payable with US$ 750.00 per each commenced day of 24 hours or as individually agreed in the contract.
A minimum 3-4 days' notice to load or discharge is required.
Total time for delivery, Elbląg-Gdańsk - three (3) days, loading/discharging included.
Total time for delivery, Elbląg-Gdynia - four (4) days, loading/discharging included.
Cost of carriage, Elbląg-Gdańsk - US$ 2,000.00 per barge
Cost of carriage, Elbląg-Gdynia - US$ 2,500.00 per barge, with conventional cargo
Cost of carriage, Malbork-Gdańsk - US$ 2,100.00 per barge, with conventional cargo
Cost of carriage, Malbork-Gdynia - US$ 2,600.00 per barge, with conventional cargo
Cost of carriage, Kaliningrad-Elbląg - US$ 2,500.00, per 1 dwtCost of carriage
Kaliningrad-Gdańsk - US$ 3,000.00, per 1 dwt
Pilotage and harbour dues on Russian side are borne by the cargo shipper/receiver.
Barges as floating depots or for cargo fumigation:
initial seven (7) days - US$ 400.00 per each commenced day of 24h
next seven (7) days - US$ 300.00 per each commenced day of 24h
over 14 up to 30 days - US$ 250.00 per each commenced day of 24h
over one (1) month - US$ 220.00 for each commenced subsequent day.
Costs of carriage of heavy lifts, long and outsize pieces, dangerous goods and goods to be handled with care or under special conditions are to be agreed with the Company Management.
